Grand Rapid's indie folk masters Ben and Bruno released 100 Grim Reapers in September, a group of songs based on a character named Ben, the story of his life a long while after his abduction by a religious fanatic and how Ben's relationship with his wife and two daughters are shaped by this past impression. After losing his mother at a very young age, Ben is abducted by a religious fanatic who has been living in the apartment above the family. Ben, during his trip while fleeing from the police, falls in love with the woman who has abducted him. The story continues after the capture of his new love & he grows older. The newest album focuses more on his life a long while after the abduction & has to do with his wife & two daughters. The album centers around those relationships & Ben's inability to shake this past impression he aqcuired.
