Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Beth Hart, known for her raw and powerful blues-rock sound, wraps her expressive vocals around classic soul cover album Don’t Explain - a collection that grew out of her friendship with blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa.

Produced by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Aerosmith), the album features Hart’s interpretations of ten soulful blues songs, with Bonamassa on guitar and his ace band filling out the tracks. Cuts like “I’ll Take Care Of You” hijacked BBC Radio 2’s playlists and the UK’s Classic Rock magazine included the release in its Top Albums of 2011.

"Like Jeff Buckley at his most transcendent, and sounding like Janis Joplin reincarnated with Stevie Nicks’s high-speed vibrato, Hart turned the act of singing into an out-of-body experience, something both intensely physical and tangibly metaphysical.” – Slant Magazine
