2010 issue on standard vinyl 2XLP -The "L'enfant terrible" of French song is back! The return of Cali! In the heart of Cali swimming trout, wild and ambiguous animal symbolizing what is not home, if the price of a fierce struggle for life at all costs. A rainbow trout heaven, with multiple colors of love, grief, rage and joy. The tone is set, Cali Catalan is back. Following the success of "Hope", his previous album sold over 150,000 copies in 2008 and the tour that followed, Cali returns with new energy and a more personal album. Surrounded by his bodyguards, Cali has made this new album with Geoffrey Burton (Arno, Alain Bashung, Jacques Higelin, Iggy Pop). Two other members of the Hong Kong Dong trio album illuminate their angelic choirs, while the violinist Steve Wickham (The Waterboys, U2), bassist Alan Gevaert and Deus' its director Erwin Autrique complement this beautiful and unusual Catalan-Belgian agreement. An album without moderation!

According to Cali, the album title comes from a fisherman friend (a Fernand1 named) who, delighted with the opening of fisheries, would have sent an SMS at 6 in the morning saying: "I am happy. Life is a rainbow rainbow trout swimming in my heart. "The singer reportedly told him "You've just found the title of my album."

The magazine Télérama counts several "hiccups" starting with the title of the album, which shares the drive between "the mocking laughter and sincere concern about the mental health of the artist." The magazine also mentions a "taste excessive pathos" and "theatricality dripping words and voice to raise awareness [that] often border on the ridiculous." References to Brel and Ferré saw the magazine said the "pastiche".

Les Inrockuptibles, yet rave regarding previous studio albums of chanteur, are silent on this fourth album. Didier Varrod, who signed the book Rage! (Book entreriens with singer) 8, speaks in his morning chronic Another morning on France Inter, an "immense disk" "gross, rock and incisive." As Serge music magazine, of which he is editor, Didier Varrod continues praised this fourth album using no less than 29 adjectives in the termination 'ant', separated by commas. It notably uses the adjectives "powerful", "spouting", "devouring", "atomizing", "abundant", "living" but also "annoying" and "insolent". He finished this list as follows: "Obviously. This is the new disk Cali. "

Radio France International (RFI) notes that Cali "does nothing in half measures" and that almost like the album "was recorded to unleash the taunts." Finally, RFI compares the disc to a "highly codified genre film": "we know why we go, we know them through but also making the salt."
