The Korora is a standalone solid-state battery powered phono stage preamplifier, equipped with a built in recharge circuit and high performance Ni-MH batteries. It can be used on battery power alone (recommended), or while charging. The Korora has an extreme high S/N (close to -100db) performance when powered with the battery.
