Glasvegas is back with the brand new album Later...When The TV Turns To Static, due out via their own Go Wow Records in partnership with BMG. Later...When The TV Turns To Static is the band's third studio album and the next stunning chapter from one of the UK's most unique bands. The 10-track, 45-minute sojourn of heartfelt melancholia and broken relationships is set against a backdrop of scorching soundscapes that lift the soul into heights of abandoned euphoria.

James Allan, Glasvegas songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, frontman, beloved people's poet (and profound Glaswegian), produced Later...When The TV Turns To Static in Glasgow's state-of-the-art Gorbals Studio using a vintage sound desk once owned by Decca Records (and the actual desk Pavarotti's definitive Nessun Dorma was recorded on).

The first single from the album is "If," a pealing, poetic discourse on life's cruel dichotomies and the accompanying video stars William Shatner. Allan states, "My idea for the song came about during a phone call a while back with my good friend Alan McGee. He was talking to me about something quite difficult that was going on at the time and I said to him, 'Alan, if we didn't go through the bad stuff, we wouldn't recognize the good stuff; it would be invisible to you."
