2018 EU reissue on 180g LP -We had to wait a long time for it, but the debut album of HAEVN has arrived. In 2015 the musical duo released their first single "Where The Heart Is". Three years later there is finally Eyes Closed, a strong debut that clearly contains a lot of work. The impression we got with the album release in Paradiso, Amsterdam - a few months ago - is more than confirmed with this album. HAEVN takes you through a very beautiful story on the tones of cinematic pop music.
The story of Jorrit (film composer) and Marijn (singer / songwriter) started in 2015 when they worked together on a song for a commercial. Both "Where The Heart Is" and "Finding Out More" were born in this way. With only a limited number of singles officially out, they already managed to sell out many large halls in the Netherlands. For Eyes Closed they worked with none other than Tim Bran, producer of London Grammar and Birdy among others. Under the wings of Warner Music there was an international release which made the album take a little longer. Fortunately we get a debut to tell you.
