2015 reissue on 180g 2LP -Beautiful collaboration between John Grant and the orchestra. The American singer John Grant is especially loved on the old continent.

His debut album Queen Of Denmark was proclaimed the best album of that year by Mojo and OOR in 2010, and Pale Green Ghosts took over from Grant in Iceland, which has been more or less his base ever since. Grants permanent guidance band consists entirely of Icelanders anyway. Not surprising that he called on the philharmonic orchestra of the British institute BBC for this concert-with-orchestra. With that team, Grant puts on a beautiful show. The orchestral arrangements beat Grant's sassy soft pop songs a lot. This album is a nice addition to the two beautiful solo albums that Grant released earlier.
