The M1 and F1ar the flagship models, making no compromise. The result is a sound that is powerful, dynamic and highly sophisticated. The M1 and F1 represent a major step forward in cutting edge technology having inherited and improved upon the advanced technologies of the P/C series. The inner housing is made from Delrin for its superior mechanical strength, excellent vibration damping properties and noise reduction capability. The contacts, made from beryllium copper, are heat treated to insure mechanical integrity and high conductivity. The plating of the M1 and F1 is a combination of platinum and palladium which was selected after repeated listening tests. These plugs are not merely high grade. Every possible step has been taken to achieve true "State of the Art". Every one of our products is made under our direct supervision to the highest and strictest standards. Since even minute variations can lead to failure, we carefully choose each part to assure ease of assembly and operation and, especially, safety. Materials are selected for superior sound quality, durability and reliability. To achieve our aim, cost is a secondary consideration. Avoiding unnecessary decoration and complexity, we are proud to deliver these products of value for your listening pleasure. | Contact Pins The contact pins are made out of beryllium copper and machined out of a single piece, for the best possible conductivity.The feedstock is made out of a bolt 14 mm in diameter that weights 70 grams. The machining has to be done with a highly sophisticated CNC lathe, in order to archive the highest precision on this complex shape. Plating In order to improve the sound quality the plating is a very important issue. Therefore our contacts are free of any nickel plating. Instead, we hand polish the metal parts twice. Only by means of this costly process can we achieve a mirror- like surface, and a proper base for the final platinum and Palladium plating. This mirror- like finish is a prerequisite for producing clear and vivid sound.
