2021 EU reissue on standard vinyl 2LP - The Queen of Soul, with the help of music mogul Clive Davis and her new association with Arista Records, made a seemingly smooth transition to the MTV age in the '80s. Tracks like "Freeway of Love" and "Who's Zoomin' Who?" were huge hits on the small screen, the radio and the singles charts. This new 15-track collection also includes her cover of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" (produced by Keith Richards), her duets with George Michael ("I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)"), Elton John ("Through the Storm"), Whitney Houston ("It Isn't, It Wasn't, It Ain't Ever Gonna Be"), and more.
