2014 EU reissue on 180g vinyl LP +download-Arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle, 1965's Moonlight Sinatra was named in homage to Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and features Frank's peak era interpretations of ten lush and romantic numbers titled and themed after the moon including "Moonlight Becomes You," "Moonlight Serenade," and "Oh, You Crazy Moon." The album is also seen as a loose tribute to Sinatra's early influence Bing Crosby as many of the songs here were previously associated with the omnipresent entertainer.
