Sam Cooke is considered to be one of the pioneers and founders of Soul music. Through his justifiable legendary and distinctive voice he acquired the nickname 'King Of Soul'. He recorded over 20 albums and his contribution in Soul music was of great influence on the modern world of music. Many artists, including Aretha Franklin, Stevie wonder and Marvin Gaye followed his footsteps.
