"In 2018, Shawn Mendes released his new album of the same name. It is now the third album of the only 19-year-old Canadian superstar. Less than five years ago, Shawn was discovered after he covers famous hits on the digital platforms Youtube and Vine placed, in 2015 he broke through with his debut album 'Handwritten' with the hits 'Stitches' and 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.

The subsequent album "Illuminate" confirmed his position as a superstar: the album achieved the # 1 position in the Netherlands, and scored hits including "Mercy", "Treat You Better" and "There's Nothing Holdin" Me Back. Last May he was still in the country for a directly sold out show at the Ziggodome in Amsterdam.

The first single from the new album is In My Blood, an up-tempo pop hit that was immediately added to the playlist on 3FM, Q-Music, Radio 538 (ex-alarm disc) and Sky Radio.

Shawn Mendes is expected to tour internationally again next year. "
